| Thank you for visiting us on the web! Let us introduce ourselves ... We have been raising horses for most of our lives. Arnold comes from a Thoroughbred race horse background and Annette comes from a working Quarter Horse background. We started raising American Miniature Horses in 1989 with two mares and a young stallion. We had so much fun with them and enjoyed them so much we decided to sell the small quarter horse herd we had gathered to raise AQHA pleasure horses. In 1992 we decided to try our hand at showing, a whirlwind and several more minis later we were definitely hooked. Then in 1998 we sold down the minis intending to cut back and concentrate on an extremely focused, small breeding program. In the spring of 1999 Annette went with a friend to look at a Classic American Shetland Pony the friend was interested in. While at the farm the owner showed us several different ponies. Annette absolutely fell in love with a young black pinto stallion there. After returning home and visiting with Arnold we decided it would be fun to get back in the show ring, so we purchased the stallion and made plans. It wasn't long before Arnold had fallen in love with that same stallion. That Summer and the next was a whirlwind of excitment and adrenaline as we headed down the road to shows and fun. Of course a beautiful, fine stallion does necessitate mares, so we bought a few, and were bitten not only by the mini bug but also the pony bug. We now have a small breeding program that is still extremely focused. That program includes only American Miniature Horses and American Classic Shetland Ponies that have the potential to win in the show ring yet are versatile enough to be family and pleasure oriented at home. Things have changed over the last 20 years, and we are proud to say that we have kept up. Our two children have been raised with the minis and ponies and are very involved in the training program as well as the showing aspect. Therefore we know we have a proven herd of family oriented ponies and minis with gentle dispositions and good minds. Whether it is staying home training for obstacle, driving, and riding with Hannah and Eric, driving out on the local trails, or just spending quality time in the barn with a good brush and a good pony, we truly enjoy every aspect and the awesome versatility of the minis and ponies. We invite you to take a virtual tour of our farm here in western Nebraska and have a look at our ponies and minis. You can do that by clicking on the buttons at the top of this page.
